With this Joomla module, you can automatically update modified date, published date or created date of Joomla articles, based on set frequency.
Enter the article IDs as comma separated values.
The date of the first article in the list will be changed automatically when the module will be triggered. The article ID will be removed from the list, and on next update, the second article will be updated.
How To Trigger Module
The article will be updated only if current date is greater than the update date. So, it doesn't matter how many times module is triggered. Publish the module in any position (like footer) and at any menu items. Whenever someone visits the page where the module is published, it will be triggered.
You can also publish the module at hidden menu item (url not visible in website) and add cron job to visit the hidden URL.
wget -O /dev/null "http://www.example.com/update-cron-task" > /dev/null 2>&1
The URL should be accessible but not visible.
