TF Any field - Where filter is only available during form submission !?
I am confused by the general logic of this field. I was glad to find a more advanced SQL field than the core one, bit on second sight I don't understand the parameters and their location.
The basic configuration does not allow a WHERE filter? Then I noticed that the filter options are in the actual form display. Why is that? Doesn't it make much more sense to have them as a general option in the field configuration.
So an end user is not bothered by such an advanced input. No user would know what to enter in this subform field. It is a super advanced feature, but it should be optional in my humble opinion.
Hello
The Database mode It is not like SQL Field. Both are entirely different. Though, you can select SQL field in Custom Field (Coming Soon).
The main purpose of this field to show records from any database table in the frontend. It is not meant to be used in forms for users. For example, you can display latest articles or popular articles. It can work with any Joomla table or third-party extension.
