TF Mail
February 15, 2023

I am testing Your TF Mail Plugin in Joomla 4 and I like the look and feel.

However, the first Test Mail was sent to the test user but not to anyone else in the list. What am I doing wrong?

What does the number in the Mail Limit options stand for? It is set to 5 by default.

When using the pro version: How do I import Joomla Users from any of the groups as newsletter subscribers? I am migrating from Joomla Version 3.0 (and currently RSMail!). And will they be able to unsubscribe from the newsletter. What happens, if a user is deleted? And how to automatically subscribe newly registered users to the newsletter?

Thank You for You help!

I found the missing link: I have to change to Que in the dashboard and process there. The Process button in the list of the Newsletters just sends the messages to the que.

And I found, that the number is the number of e-mails the que processes at once.

Well, how then set the number of messages to not more than say 200 per hour? Because sometimes this leads to limitations or restrictions.

Thank You

Yes, you are correct. First, emails are sent to the queue and queue is processed to send the messages.

The component doesn't have any separate users or subscribers. Joomla users itself are subscribers. To send newsletters to particular group, just set the filter for Joomla group id.

Users can easily unsubscribe. You can create a menu item for the unsubscribe form.

For setting 200 emails per hour, you can set Cron Task to run every 5 minutes and set queue limit to 15.

OK, I see. So the que is triggered by the cron job.
