Again I have problems with the automated newsletter. Everything went well on my test site, but now I implement it on the real site it sends an empty newsletter when there are no articles. In the newsletter options I set frequency to 1 and check for articles to yes. Also Latest Articles (days) is set to 1.

The first 2 days I posted articles and every thing was OK but then I posted nothing.

Also, in the Home Dashboard of Joomla it states that all extensions are up to date. But when I open the dashboard of TF Mail it states that there is a new version of the extension and the library.

I have version 1.7.4 of the library and 2.9.3 of TF Mail Pro.

This may be happening because of delay (messages in queue). Newsletter is added to the queue but while sending it may not be able to insert articles as these are published earlier than 1 day.

How many users are there? And what is sending rate?

You are using latest version of component and library. The message (false message) is sometimes displayed when it is not able to get information from update file. We are working on this issue.

I have 35 users. What do you mean by sending rate? I did set the queue email limit to 50.

Another question.

I asume that the Q S O C column in the users table stands for Queue Sent Open Clicks (If set in the statistics options (I did set the Open setting))?

for me I have 0 4 1 0 so 0 in queue, 4 sent and 1 opened?

I did open them all 4.

Yes Q S O C - Emails in Queue Sent Open and Clicks.

Open statistics are not accurate. They are recorded only when opened in Html version and that too with images.

For the empty newsletter problem, I need to further investigate the issue. Can you email login details to mail@techfry.com?
