TF Learn

The font awesome icons aren't working in TF Learn under the courses view. I am using the Jooomla! 4 default template, Cassiopeia. Under the inspector we can see.

But to get the icon to show under Cassiopeia you would need to write: Perhaps there can be a way for TF Learn to load its own fontawesome icons?

Thanks

Hello

Please update the component and library. Now, you can load Font Awesome.

From the component options, under General Tab, select Font Awesome in Load Resources field.

Hello,

Unfortunately font awesome stopped working after following the instructions in this thread.

Font awesome icons are not showing on unordered lists. I am using TF Learn 2.3.1.

If I open the inspector and change the i class from fa-regular to far then the icons pop up.

So it's not an issue of font awesome not loading correctly.. it seems to be an error in the code.

Please let me know if this can be conveniently fixed. Thank you.

I have tested with Joomla 5, icons are displaying. Are you using Joomla 4?

Fontawesome version 6 uses fa-regular instead of far

Hi,

Correct, I am using Joomla 4.

I have set to load Font Awesome resource in the General configuration tab. Is TF Learn component loading the incorrect font awesome version?

Thanks,

Hello

Please update TF Library and component. Under the general configuration, please select Font Awesome (CDN). This should solve the issue.

Thank you

I can confirm the same problem. The icons display correctly on the front end in Cassiopeia, but now the back end icons don't work in the dashboard (Atun template).

I've loaded Font Awesome CDN and Font Awesome (Joomla), updated library to 3.1.9 and tf learn to 2.3.3.

Looking forward to fix. Thanks.

FYI: Updated Tech Fry Library to version 3.2.0. Icons are displayed correctly now.
