Hello

Not possible at present. Can you provide any example or any use of this? We can update the extension to include this feature.

According to the GSC results, or checking in Firefox inspection, my url’s are without canonical attribute. I tried to fix this. I installed an extension to create canonical URL for article, category, tags and menu. Surprise, it creates a canonical URL for the TF menu item. But this is not enough, because menu products do not become canonical, only the menu item and a product become canonical. From the documentation of this extension, this is a joomla behavior. From documentation, in this case, I understand that the category should be canonical to create the canonical products chain. That's all I can say. And the canonical URL makes for good indexing.

If someone can give us an opinion about this.

I believe that the category must also become canonical, in order to be able to set the article to become canonical. The setting for both can be done manually or automatically, that depends on the program how it is made.

Reading information about canonical url addresses, I find out that there are 3 methods by which we can say how to establish a canonical url address. By redirection, by the rel=''canonical'' attribute and by the site map. In the end, these are recommendations, but they are not mandatory or strictly necessary.

I ask in this way if it will be possible to create a sitemap of the site for the url-s created through the TF programs?

Okay, so you need to add canonical urls to head section of individual products pages?

Yes, if it is possible, I think it can help in better indexing for each product.

If TF Products and Categories could have the tab Publishing and Metadata, I think the canonical links can be resolved very fast, because the TF menu has Metadata tab, and I am able to create a canonical information there.

This sounds good. Can you share what are you adding in Metadata/Publishing to add canonical information.

We will create same functionality for Products and Categories.

It works, in product > Info > Canonical URL, there I can place my url and testing on GSC looks good. For inspect in browser, looks good. Thank you.
