Grab Content using DOM

You can grab content from any web page using Document Object Model.

Types

There are four types:

1. Value

Value of HTML tag or element (where Attribute equals Attribute Value). For example: h1, title

2. HTML

HTML inside HTML tag or element (where Attribute equals Attribute Value). For example: div

3. Attribute

Value of attribute of HTML tag or element (where Attribute equals Attribute Value). For example: src, href

4. Json

Value of HTML tag or element (where Attribute equals Attribute Value). The JSON value get converted to Array. For example: script

Options

HTML Tag (Required): Main HTML tag or element to grab content from.

Attribute and Attribute Value (Optional): To target specific HTML tags, you can add a condition where attribute property equals some attribute value.

Attribute to Fetch: This is applicable where Type is Attribute.

Array Index Number: When there are more than one matching HTML tags, you can increase this number to get appropriate content.

Use Cases

1. To Get Browser Title

Type: Value

HTML Tag: title

2. To Get Article Heading (h1)

Type: Value

HTML Tag: h1

3. To Get HTML inside <div class="content"></div>

Type: HTML

HTML Tag: div

Attribute: class

Attribute Value: content

4. To Get Open Graph Image from Meta Tag

Type: Attribute

HTML Tag: meta

Attribute: property

Attribute Value: og:image

Attribute to Fetch: content
