Create Topic Menu Item

The "Create Topic" menu item displays the form for users to create a new topic or submit a support request.

1. Details

Menu Item Type: Click the Select button. Under TF Forum, select Create Topic.

2. Options

Description: The description is displayed before the form. You can also add HTML code here.

Image: Select an image to display above the form.

Enable Captcha: Show or hide the captcha for guest or non-logged in users.

Enable Labels: Show or hide the select label field. This field displays all the labels that are enabled to display at the front. The user can select the label while submitting the form. 

Enable Attachments: Enable or disable to upload file attachments in the form.

Enable Editor: Enable or disable the text editor for the form.

Custom Redirect: Enter the Url where users are redirected after the form is submitted.

Custom Message: Enter the message that will be displayed after submitting the form.

Button Text: Enter the text for the Submit Button.

Button Class: Enter the class to style the Submit button.

3. Component Options: New Topic

Besides menu item options, some setting are controlled from the component options. From the Dashboard, click the "Options" in the toolbar.

Access: Select the access level that is allowed to create new forum topics.

Status: This is the default published status of new topics. Disable this setting if you want to moderate the topic before it is visible on the forum as well as user topics.

Front: This is the default front status of new topics. Disable this setting if you want to moderate the topic before it is visible on the forum. However, the topic will be visible under the user topics.
